Is there anyway i can find an old friend over the internet if i have lost there email address?

I have this friend in America...i am thinking of visiting them but trouble is i have lost there bloddy email address lol :[ i would love to meet them again but that email addy was the only thing that i had....would there be ANY other way to find them? i doubt there is but any ideas please... thanks.
